The room was gorgeous... just right for 2 people and the interior was delightfully renovated and updated! The bathroom had everything we needed, and was updated as well. Everyone who worked there was lovely and helpful... Peter at the front desk came out to greet us when we arrived, and was able to answer all of our questions! The cleaning ladies were wonderful all the time, from helping us open our room, and showing us the card slot where we could turn on the lights (this is a great way to save electricity), to presiding over breakfast (on the top floor, with amazing views) with cheerful hellos, and recognizing all the guests. This hotel is set off from the main street, which provided an extra layer of quiet during the night, for a restful sleep. We were right in the center of the city, so close to lots of attractions. Peter helped us get a HOHO (hop on, hop off) bus pass, and provided a map to show us where the closest stop was. There was a small fridge in the room, air conditioning, wifi, a large armoire, and a personal safe in the room. I don't think we could have chosen a better hotel in the city, with a pretty exceptional price! If I get back to Rome again, this will absolutely be my first choice of hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Our second visit in 6 years to this hotel. Well appointed rooms with quiet, efficient aircon, bathroom with bidet and good shower. The hotel is just 800m from Piazza Venezia and yet you would not know it - a quiet safe location, mere steps away from Trajan’s column, the Forum, Colliseum and all the main Roman antiquities. The staff are helpful and cheerful. Breakfast on the rooftop room has fab views across the Dome of Chiesa del Santissiomo Nome di Maria Al Foro Triano, to the top of the Monument to Victor Emmanuel II. I noticed that some reviews did not rate the breakfasts: in our view, the hotel offers a good standard Italian style breakfast - a selection of warm, straight-from-the-oven pastries baked throughout breakfast service, various continental cakes, fruit (locally in season choice of plums, apricots, pears) along with charcuterie selection, cereals and, of course, lots of coffee.

Hotel Bolivar is within walking distance of so many historical sights in Rome. The staff at the hotel, Peter, the manager, was at the front desk during the day, Max who was on the front desk at night, the cleaning staff, Elena in the breakfast room were all so friendly and helpful. They treated the 10 of us like family and gave us great tips about what to see, where to eat, and how to get there. The breakfast room has beautiful views of the city and the breakfasts themselves offered a lot of variety. Elena and her staff were very attentive and friendly and made us delicious cappuccinos! The Bolivar has a terrace with comfortable chairs, tables and umbrellas that we enjoyed using to have happy hours, play cards and just meet there to visit with each other. We would highly recommend the Bolivar!

Hotel Bolivar is the perfect place to stay for a visit to Rome if you want a very clean, comfortable, Roman style, well located hotel for sightseeing in Rome. Look no further! This hotel is a very good value too. Our room was large with a king bed and two twins and we had a shuttered window overlooking a side street which we kept open for breeze. The bathroom was terrific: modern with a glass door shower. It wasnt large but just right. Breakfast was exceptional. There were plenty of choices, great coffee and a magnificent view of a cityscape. The staff was friendly and helpful. They got us a car to the airport and recommended ways to get around town. All in all, a great choice for a trip to Rome!

"I spent a week with my family at HOTEL BOLIVAR, and we were overall very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is cozy and clean, creating a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation. The breakfast was decent, although it would be nice to have a bit more variety, as we had the same options each day. I especially want to highlight the hotel staff—they are very kind and helpful people, always ready to assist and make our stay even more comfortable. The hotel's location in the heart of Rome is simply outstanding; it's the perfect place to explore the history of this ancient and eternal city. I confidently recommend HOTEL BOLIVAR to anyone looking to enjoy their stay in Rome!"
